Hey everyone, we’ve just updated the contest share and like features! Now anyone can use the AudioDraft likes even if they are not registered AudioDraft users. It will be so much easier for the contest followers to point out their favorite entries in the contests. We removed the old Facebook Like button and added much more cooler AddThis sharing functionality that covers Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Hi! We have just enhanced our e-mail notification system. The new notifications help the contest holders and contestants know better what is happening in the contests. Now it will be much more easier and convenient to stay up-to-date in any AudioDraft contest. When you participate in a contest you’ll get notifications when your entry is rated, commented or selected as a winner. Also, if contest holder or AudioDraft discuss publicly on the contest page, you’ll be notified about it. If contest holder modifies the design brief, you’ll also get a notification of it. Ari Nykänen, the creative director at Kuuasema, tells us a little bit how they used AudioDraft to crowdsource the main theme of Supersonic. Supersonic is a fast paced tunnel ride game for iPhone, iPad, Android and WebOS devices that was released few months ago. Hi Ari, congratulations for releasing the game! There has been a lot of buzz about the Valley and we can assure it’s not for nothing. For us it’s a place where you can get more things done in a week than in a month elsewhere. But the Silicon Valley, or the broader Bay Area, is not the place for every startup. At least not for doing business. It has something for every entrepreneur though: culture and knowledge. Great news! We have selected the tracks for the Japan Charity campaign compilation. Few weeks ago we launched a campaign that encouraged artists to write their best relief songs for Japan. Five best tracks would be released on a compilation album that will be released on iTunes, Amazon etc. All incomes from the album sales are donated to the Japan Aid of Finnish Red Cross. In two weeks we received 54 amazing songs that really surpassed all our expectations. We couldn’t pick just five songs, we had to pick ten.
