Create Playmysong Theme Song

Design brief

Playmysong turns your mobile phone into a free remote control for music in bars, stores, cafés and parties. We believe that the era of random music is coming to an end and in the future we all together decide the soundtrack of our days and nights.

We are now looking for a cool instrumental theme song for Playmysong to be used in our promotional videos and demos. We'd like the song to be upbeat, energetic, modern and cool. We are mostly rock fans ourselves, but the music can be of any genre as long as it's catchy and energetic. One of our favorite bands is Thrice, but the Playmysong theme song can be of any of these genres:

- Rock / Post-Rock (example: Thrice, Caspian etc.)
- Melodic Punk (example: Propagandhi, Rancid etc.) 
- Ska / Reggae (example: Aggrolites, Valkyrians etc.)
- Hip Hop (example: Early DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5 etc.)
- Electro / Dubstep (example: Skrillex)
- Indie / Electro Pop (Example: The Go! Team, Rubik, Vampire Weekend etc.)

The genre of this song should not be (not to say that we don't like some this stuff:-):

- Metal 
- Mainstream Pop 
- Ballads
- Hardcore
- Folk

The song should be 3 minutes long, with a catchy hook than can be edited for a 30sec or 1 minute video. Playmysong is for every hour of the day, 24 hours 7 days. It would be great if the song somehow tells that. It should fit to having breakfast, working out in a gym or when you go to sleep.
