Create a Happy Birthday sound package

Design brief

Our product is a mobile song-mixing application for creating unique audio tunes that you can save on your mobile device and share with your friends. The tunes are created by selecting from existing in-app clips combined with your own recordings. You can combine up to three clips from different categories and make a recording on top of the mix. The tracks are then combined to an audio file in the mobile application.

We are looking for innovative, unique, and cool audio content for our Happy Birthday Song clip package. We are looking for a package of five different styles of Happy Birthday Song themes. It's important that the themes are diverse in terms of style and sound (e.g. hiphop-theme, rock-theme, etc).

The length of each theme is 15-20 seconds, tempo 90bpm, and key F major. Combine the five themes one after another into the file that you submit to the contest (in total of around 1:30 in length).

Each of the 5 themes need to have 3 sections: "keyboard", "Happy Birthday melody" and "drums". The "keyboard" section is the accompaniment of the song and can include any instrument(s). The "melody" has the basic (singing) Happy Birthday melody played with any instrument. "Drums" includes all rhythmic elements. See the image below.

In the mobile application, user can select any of the five drum clips, combine it with any of the five keyboard clips, and any of the five melody clips. Therefore, all of the clips in each section have to fit together with any clip in other sections.

In this way, the user can create unique combinations by picking a clip from each section and playing them together.
