YLE Production is looking for a short cinematic theme song that will be used in their upcoming promo. The main prize for the contest is a unique opportunity to use the legendary YLE M1 recording studio for a day, free of charge. Traveling expenses are not included but you can use the prize money for traveling.
We are looking for a smoothly arranged, velvety (please, still use drums) and contemporary orchestral song. It should excite the listener's imagination whether they are watching film noir, Kalevala animation or cutting edge drama.
The song should be 2 minutes in length and it should include an intro sequence (approximately 15 to 20 seconds). The intro is to be anticipatory and calm, gradually building up, finally bursting into full blown song.
Characteristics that describe the jingle we are looking for:
* Sunset Boulevard
* Symphony of magnitude
* Hans Zimmer
* Heroics (like in a James Bond movie Golden Eye)
