Music Library is an online store of exclusive music. All the tracks are produced by the talented worldwide Audiodraft sound designer community and handpicked by music professionals to ensure the great quality. Music Library is offering only exclusive licenses so a single tune can be sold only once.
This challenge gives you a unique opportunity to get your music to the Audiodraft Music Library! By winning you will be able to get your tune to be listed and sold at the Audiodraft Music Library and you will gain reputation on Audiodraft by getting a winner badge on your profile page.
This is a sprint challenge so the ten (10) winners will be selected on the fly! The challenge will end when all ten winners have been selected. Maximum number of entries per designer is limited to 5 (including withdrawn ones as well).
This time your challenge is to create a video game theme song using familiar chiptune sounds of NES/SID/Gameboy. You also have to pay attention to following restrictions:
- You can have a maximum of 8 audio channels playing at the same time
- Each channel is monophonic (so it can only have one sound playing at a time / monophonic synthesizer)
Our designer AnalogStik (John Montoya) has offered us a helpful sample package full of brilliant chiptune sound effects (varying from percussion sounds to arcade game effects). The package also includes chiptune instrument presets for Massive-synth by Native Instruments. You can find the download link in the "Reference links" section. AnalogStik is also one of the co-producers of this challenge.
We also have a special prize sponsored by Plogue: Challenge winners participate in a draw, and the prize is one full license of the famous "chipsounds" AU/VST-plugin by Plogue. If the winner already owns "chipsounds" he will get another product of his choice between chipcrusher, chipspeech or even Bidule.
