We're really into the music that's currently playing on the radio and we'd like to have our own pop anthem track with a good danceable beat! There is an additional $500 product prize (to be announced later) for the winner of the contest.

Tubecon is the biggest live event for YouTube blogger communities in Nordic Countries with over 10.000 participants. It's a fair, a live music festival, a conference with meet&greets, live roleplaying, fun contests, panels and whatnot. Now we are looking for an anthem pop song for our young community. We want to stand out from everyone else and be cool! We need a song that would make full stadium audiences shout, jump and stomp!
We're really into the music that's currently playing on the radio (One Direction, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Cheek, Anna Abreu, Avicii, David Guetta) and we'd like to have our own pop track with a good danceable beat! It shouldn't be 100% EDM, but it should be influenced by the EDM production style. Also, it's good to mention that we are not looking for guitar-driven tracks.
The song length should be around 3 to 4 minutes. It should follow the basic structure of a pop song: intro, verse A, chorus, verse B, chorus, chorus with extra impact and modulation, outro. It's better to keep chords and melodies very simple (a rotation of 3-4 chords usually works) like it's in most of the pop songs. But you need to make sure the production sounds modern!
You don't need to write lyrics or sing, we'll take care of that once we have the best track from you guys! You should keep the vocals in your mind while producing the song, you need to leave some space for the vocals so don't put too many tracks and layers in your songs! After we have the winning track from you, we'll invite our community members to sing and perform the lyrics. The song is released at the Tubecon 2015 festival on August 15th in Helsinki, Finland.
Our YouTube bloggers have hundreds of thousands followers and they can spread the track like a wildfire in the social media. And it's not only that, we also aim to make this the biggest radio hit in Finland this year. So be prepared to acknowledge the fame and glory that comes with this track.
