Design brief

Music Library is an online store of exclusive music. All the tracks are produced by the talented worldwide Audiodraft sound designer community and handpicked by music professionals to ensure the great quality. Music Library is offering only exclusive licenses so a single tune can be sold only once.

This challenge gives you a unique opportunity to get your music to the Audiodraft Music Library! By winning you will be able to get your tune to be listed and sold at the Audiodraft Music Library and you will gain reputation on Audiodraft by getting a winner badge on your profile page.

This is a sprint challenge so the ten (10) winners will be selected on the fly! The challenge will end when all ten winners have been selected. Maximum number of entries per designer is limited to 5 (including withdrawn ones as well).

The aim of this challenge is to create blues music that is deep and down-to-earth with a lot of character. The songs can be with or without vocals. We're mainly expecting to hear blues songs with traditional instrumentation, but nobody tells you not to surprise us with some electronic / cross-over blues songs. Before you get started, please listen to the references below to get inspired.

Slate Digital is sponsoring an extra prize for this contest: Virtual Tape Machines* plug-in, which adds the 'big, fat, warm, deep, rich, and exciting' sound to your mix. They have basically reverse engineered the magical sound of magnetic studio tapes and implemented it into a powerful plug-in that can take your mixes to the next level.
