Design brief

The Audiodraft Music Library is an online store of exclusive, original music. All the tracks are produced by the talented worldwide Audiodraft sound designer community and handpicked by music professionals to ensure the great quality. The Audiodraft Music Library is offering only exclusive licenses so a single tune can be sold only once.

This challenge gives you a unique opportunity to get your music to the Music Library! By winning you will be able to get your tune to be listed and sold in the Music Library and you will gain reputation on Audiodraft by getting a winner badge on your profile page.

The best tunes competing in the challenge will be added to the Music Library. The maximum number of entries per designer is limited to 5 (including withdrawn ones as well).

The aim of this challenge is to create traditional West African music that has its roots in countries like e.g. Mali, Senegal, Niger, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin. Please include traditional instruments like the kora, djembe, ngoni and xalam. Vocals are more than welcome, but not required. We prefer to hear recordings of acoustic instruments rather than MIDI-instruments, but these are not categorically forbidden. Please listen to the references below to get inspired. Happy composing!
