Create An Alien National Anthem

Design brief

The Audiodraft Music Library is an online store of exclusive, original music. All the tracks are produced by the talented worldwide Audiodraft sound designer community and handpicked by music professionals to ensure great quality. The Audiodraft Music Library is offering only exclusive licenses, so a single tune can be sold only once.

This Challenge gives you a unique opportunity to get your music to the Music Library! By winning you will be able to get your tune to be listed and sold in the Music Library and you will gain reputation on Audiodraft by getting a winner badge on your profile page.

The best tunes competing in the Challenge will be added to the Music Library. The maximum number of entries per designer is limited to 3 (including withdrawn ones as well).

The aim of this Challenge is to create a presumptive "national anthem" for an alien (extraterrestrial) civilization. While this offers [quite a lot of] room for interpretation, we would like you to stay away from anything too experimental. We are still looking for structure, clearly identifiable sonic elements and distinct themes. Try to think about what a national anthem symbolizes and what it means in terms of group identity, culture, politics, etc. The length can be 1:15–2:15. Please stay within a "cinematic" range, and aim at scoring for a film sequence where an alien civilization's national anthem can be heard.

Out of the Challenge winners, 3 lucky ones will be drawn, and they will receive a free plug-in by Heavyocity.
