Create a 1940s track

Design brief

We are looking for a track which encapsulates the roaring 40's big band and swing feeling.

The mood can either be serious, fun, carefree or any other emotion you attach to the decade.
Genres were limited at the time, but take a look at our reference videos for a better idea of the style we are looking for. Interpretations on this are open, but try to keep the sound authentic.

It could be music for a dance floor, a news bulletin broadcast, a radio jingle or an intro to a detective movie.

The important thing is to capture the feeling of the 40's and use only real sounding instrumentation.

Tracks should be kept to under 3 minutes in length and they should all be tagged with "1940's" in the title.
