Audiodraft's work involves turning abstract attributes–relevant to our clients' brand identities–into music. By participating in this Open Challenge you can get your music promoted directly to our clients. The winning tracks will be presented to our clients as the musical representation of their core values. If they love your track, they have the option to buy it instantly!
THE CHALLENGE:
Your task is to turn the 3 attributes listed below into music. We've included explanations to give you an idea of what the attributes usually mean in terms of production. We encourage you to bring your own creativity to the game, too. The length of your track should be exactly 1:00 minute. Winning tracks will be directly promoted to our clients.
1. Down to earth – Avoid high tempo, opt for e.g. acoustic or analog instrumentation. Avoid strong reverb, as 'echo-y' sound creates a sense of distance.
2. Friendly – Consider using major key, and uplifting melodies.
3. Reliable – Opt for predictable melody, use premium sounding instrumentation, and go with either acoustic instrumentation such as grand piano, or opt for strong and clean sounding analog instrumentation with a convincing beat. Strong lower register instrumentation supports trustworthiness. Stay in major key and avoid fast tempo.
Possible genres: folk, indie, rock, pop, classical.
