Audiodraft's work involves turning abstract attributes–relevant to our clients' brand identities–into music. By participating in this Open Challenge you can get your music promoted directly to our clients. The winning tracks will be presented to our clients as the musical representation of their core values. If they love your track, they have the option to buy it instantly!
THE CHALLENGE:
Your task is to turn the 3 attributes listed below into music. We've included explanations to give you an idea of what the attributes usually mean in terms of production. We encourage you to bring your own creativity to the game, too.
1. Driven – Usually this means music that has a sense of energy and/or a strong lower register melody that dominates the composition. Common DOs: hip-hop, electronic. Common DONTs: folk, singer-songwriter.
2. Edgy – An unpredictable melody together with sound design, glitches and dissonance is often the way to go. Common DOs: electronic music, synths. Common DONTs: acoustic guitar, tambourine.
3. Brave – Strong/dominating lower register and a rising melody are usually a good idea. Common DOs: hip-hop, drums. Common DONTs: wandering, wistful melody.
The length of your track should be exactly 1:00 minute. Winning tracks will be directly promoted to our clients.
Most importantly: use your creativity and individual strengths!
IMPORANT: Please add a note about your entry and describe which elements of your track support each of the 3 attributes, and why! Follow this format: [Driven] your description... [Edgy] your description... [Brave] your description...
As a general rule, we appreciate high quality production and solid composition. The most important thing is that you really capture the essence of the given attributes!

Open Challenge winners get the chance to upload their work to 'Instant Tracks'.
'Instant Tracks' on Audiodraft is a pool of custom music instantly available for licensing. By uploading your tunes to 'Instant Tracks' you will be able to create a bank of music that can be used immediately as is, or with modifications depending on our customers' needs. This way you won't always have to start working from scratch when there's a production on Audiodraft that matches your skill set. Please keep all your sessions well stored and organized.
